In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our organization's public image and engaging effectively with various stakeholders, including the media, customers, and the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for communication and a keen understanding of the public relations landscape, with a knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range:

$25.50 - $34.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing comprehensive public relations strategies and campaigns.
• Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and other media representatives.
• Coordinate and manage events, including press conferences, community outreach programs, and corporate events.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on the analysis of media impact.
• Manage social media channels to ensure engagement and promote organizational initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in public relations or communications roles.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in media monitoring tools and PR software.
